From the New York Times: "To become fully legal residents, under a compromise Senate leaders announced Thursday, ... illegal immigrants would have to pay a total of $5,000 in fines, more than 14 times the typical weekly earnings on the streets [in Tucson, AZ], return to their home countries at least once, and wait as long as eight years. During the wait, they would have limited possibilities to bring other family members."

Strange that this doesn't sound as easy as you make it out. Interestingly as well, your statistics on crime rates are largely tied to the fact that these groups are placed in difficult situations because they are illegal. Crime rates can be expected to drop as people have recourse to honest living.

Examples also abound of European immigrants keeping flags of their home countries with them. For example, have you ever been to China Town in Chicago or Little Italy in New York? From the way you speak of immigrants, I'm suspicious that you even know any. Your temper tantrums on immigration are deeply xenophobic and match well with your jingoism.

Because you will not respond to these comments, one can only assume you do not really believe any of the things you say. It is plain for all to see that you are trying so hard to paint yourself as some type of investigative blogger of note, shedding light on matters unreported to the public at large. Judging from the lack of quality of debate on this page, the fact that you simply recycle stories wholesale from elsewhere, and that you cannot defend any of what you write, what you are is someone with a warped social vision desperate to sway others to your own perverted understanding of the world. Hardly a badge of honor.
