After attack, Kalamazoo city leaders hope to stop youth violence

KALAMAZOO -- Last week's violent beating of a bike-riding man by some youths who had congregated on a North Westnedge Avenue street corner is not just a north-side problem, or just a city issue, or just a police matter, according to Kalamazoo officials.
